The core question: What do we practice repeatedly that makes us who we are?
RIT is the practice layer.
It is where values leave language and enter behavior. Rituals make identity visible over time.
Every system already has rituals. The question is whether they were designed with care or inherited by default. Meetings, openings, closings, onboarding, celebrations, reviews, releases, moments of recognition, moments of repair — all of these shape culture.
RIT matters because people become what they practice together.
Individual
Your RIT is the set of repeated practices that shape how you live and work. It includes how you begin, how you end, how you return, and how you mark change.
Community
A community's RIT is the rhythm of its shared life. It is what creates memory, belonging, continuity, and a path of deeper participation.
Venture / AI system
A venture's RIT shows up in cadence, review, reflection, and the repeated behaviors that encode standards. An AI system's equivalent is its evaluation, monitoring, and refinement rhythm.
Weak ritual leaves culture abstract.
People may still say the right things, but the daily pattern tells a different story. What gets repeated becomes the real culture, whether anyone intended it or not.
Strong ritual keeps the promise close, reinforces identity, and builds trust through shared experience.
