The core question: How are we organized and connected?
NET is the relational layer.
It includes the quality of the relationships, the shape of the ecosystem, and the level of trust that lets people coordinate honestly.
A community is not defined by attention alone. It becomes real when relationships form between members, not only between members and the center.
This is why NET matters so much. A system can have visibility, growth, and activity, and still fail to become a true network. If trust is low, information gets filtered, problems stay hidden, and collaboration stays shallow.
Individual
Your NET is the set of relationships that actually shape your work: peers, mentors, collaborators, partners, and the people you are in service to.
Community
A community's NET is its relationship architecture. It shows up in how people meet each other, how support moves, how conflict is handled, and whether the group can hold trust as it grows.
Venture / AI system
A venture's NET includes team, customers, partners, and investors. An AI system's NET includes the human relationships and feedback loops that keep it calibrated and accountable.
Weak NET creates hidden fragility.
From a distance the system may still look connected. Inside, people are cautious, bonds are thin, and support only moves through a few central people.
Strong NET gives the work resilience.
